#TECH-TALK: A Web Event: Tactile Tool Measurement

In this web event, our measureXperts show you all you need to know about Tool Setting Probes. These devices are used for fast and automatic tool setting and tool breakage detection within a cnc machine tool. 

Blum-Novotest offers two different categories of Tool Setting Probes. Z-probes are used for fast breakage detection, tool length measurement and axis compensation on one axis. 3D probes, on the other hand, can measure in the X and Y axis, making measurements of the tools radius possible. Watch to learn how these probes have different measuring mechanisms and see them in action during various applications.
